Our Pre-Press Department is equipped to handle a variety of digital file formats for processing.

 

We accept files from the following applications:

• Adobe Creative Suite up to CS3 (Mac and Windows)
• Quark Xpress up to 7.3 (Mac)
• Corel Draw 13 (PC)
• Microsoft Word, XL, Publisher - depending on the type of job

We also accept PDF files for output. All PDF files must have the fonts embedded and be in CMYK (spots if required) format. All items that are not tagged as CMYK will be converted in RIP which can cause colour variations. Do not compress or downsample images.

 

We can often work from Microsoft programs, depending on your end usage requirement. Images placed within documents should be at least 300 dpi as this will reproduce best when using press screening technology. If your software or file type is not listed here, please contact us. Chances are we will be able to make it work!
